Services

Children

Aosóg offers after school groups daily from September to June, and services during midterm and holiday breaks. The after school groups are structured and start with dinner, social time, homework support and educational/ fun activities.

Aosóg offers both individual and group programmes depending on the social, emotional and educational needs of the children.  The group sizes are small to allow the children to build relationships with the staff and their peers, and to allow each child to get the help and attention they need. If a child is struggling in a group, we review how we can support the child, and change the support offered to his/her needs. Staff promote positive behaviour management, social learning and role modelling.

The children’s programmes are a mixture of educational, social and fun activities, they include:

Summer  Programme: the months of July and August allow us the freedom to go out and about, along with children’s groups, trips, fun activities and residentials away, we also organize Family days and events.

Therapeutic Services

Aosóg offers individual play therapy sessions to children referred to the programme. Sessions are offered in to 10-12 week blocks, with review and evaluation, as well as feedback from parents, at the end of the block of sessions, with the view of extending services if needed.

Aosóg has a fully equipped multi-sensory room.
